The building main purpose is for convention use. So the washrooms are built to take on the masses. I always found it upsetting seeing guests standing in line for the washrooms behind refreshment port, when there was a sign directing them to MillVill. (where the washrooms were empty and immaculately clean)
Actually I got to see it from tear down (I was part of the group who dismantled Mill vill) to first convention. I was there last year and they had just done thier first convention. They had tables set up in one half of the building and a presentation are in the other half. It was quite nice, the entire ceiling is black now so you can't really tell where the ceiling is anymore. Catering's got it easy too now since they're right next door. It's gotta cost a whole lot of MOola to rent that space out.
I was in the Fellowship Ambassador Program and we graduated at the American Adventure Rotonda with a ceremony with some kindergarden kids singing and dancing one song... we never understood why... :brick: but it was a nice ceremony and then a picture with Mickey on the stairs (not that very well organized, but still... one more pic with Mickey). Then we all went on a Friendship boat for a pizza party on it, and finished with a fireworks viewing at the French Island, and from there, some of us went to try RnRC. :animwink: Aug.20th., 1999.
