I was just thinking--EPCOT is such an amazing park, but I think it'd be great to bring in a new country. I'm not saying that Epcot needs new stuff, because it's great and always will be. I just thought...New country, what would it be?

I think either....

1) Spain
2) Brazil
3) Russia (Think this would be amazing)
4) India
5) Egypt

I realized that the Food and Wine Festival represented many more countries than Epcot has now. Love the ideas already. Does Epcot have enough room? Overhead birds-eye view pics? I need to be educated!! :ROFLOL:

I'll also repeat that we have numerous threads on this, so a search would probably give you more data....

Yes Epcot DOES have enough room for more -- in fact, there are buildings already built in Epcot sitting empty "offstage"...and plenty of room to add more.

Epcot would LOVE to add more countries. But absolutely nothing will be built by Disney there -- the model at Epcot is that either corporate or country sponsors "pay" for each attraction and then pay some more to maintain it.

If you know of a country (or a company from that country) who wants to invest 10-20 million dollars to build an attraction and then pay another 1 -2 million dollars a year to maintain it, then you will see a new Country added. Until that time, you can bet Epcot isn't going to change much.

Given our current financial crisis around the globe, don't expect anything.

I'm sure there's a few companies in Dubai that would be more than able to pay and maintain a pavilion. Someone get the Sultan/Prince or whomever of Dubai on the horn and lets pitch the idea to them!

I believe I read that there is still room for four or five more countries (if any would be so inclined). My vote would be for Australia.

Russia would have to be at the top of the list, with a scaled down red square as part of it.

I would like to see Ireland and Scotland added next to England, it doesn't make sense not to have them included.

Switzerland if they can have a bobsled ride.
