Epcot closing the parking lot

It's kind of full. Closing the lot apparently requires like every parking person's presence. It seem like they're all there.

This is their way of increasing Fastpass+ capacity. Parking is now a "tier 2" experience.

Friend gave me a 10 pm - 4 am ticket ... guess I'll take my sweet time heading over there.

It was announced on the radio today that there were only 300 parking spots left or so around 4-5 pm.

Cars parked on grass by bus area which I have never seen before.. Spent from 5pm - 9pm in Epcot and crowds were not as bad as I expected after seeing the signs that the lot was full. We didn't go all the way around world showcase, but all the kiosks we saw, with the exception of Mexico, had very short lines.

One lot was the finish line and at least one more was being held back for arriving runners.

It was really busy in Epcot, but it didn't seem "Close The Lot" busy.

At first, I thought, "Is Big Bad Voodoo Daddy this popular?" Parking for the race makes more sense.

An entire lot (maybe 2?) was closed because of last night's half marathon. They would have had no problems if they were able to use all of their parking lots.

It was very busy, but nowhere near New Year's crowds.

I went yesterday and I was parked waaaayyy by the guest resort bus pick-up in the grass.
It was very weird and I really felt for the epcot parking cast members.

People staged their cars at Epcot since the finish line was there but started at Wide World of Sports. 14,000 runners so not too crazy to imagine an emptier park with a fuller lot.

I worked at Argentina yesterday on a register from 12p thru 3:30p and I pumped 400 guest through in that small times lot. Don't forget that there are also 3extra registers
