No tall bushes! That's why I dislike the planters so much in that area, because they raise the height of anything you plant in them. Say you put some shrubs and flowers in them, and they grow to height of 4 to 5 feet. On ground level, that would be fine, because even at five feet, its still possible to see over them. However, if they're in a planter that is 3 feet high, now that five feet becomes eight feet, which you CAN'T see over anymore.

Innoventions plaza should be wide open and less cluttered with clear sightlines from building to building. The planters as they stand right now need to be taken out because they block the building and create "hidden" paths that make the plaza more confusing then it has to be. While the ponds would be great, even just lowering or removing the planters would look good.

I think I found out where they moved the purple poles that supported the Innoventions sign.

Oh I got confused cuz that pic that was just posted by Mr.Epcot of innoventions with no clutter I thought the tarps were removed from it? It looks different.

There *was* clutter removed, but it was not connected to the main tarps. There were poles, cables, signs, etc. I'm sure there are photos somewhere...

EDIT: Here's a photo. :)

All of that clutter was removed, leaving just the planters.

well if they removed all of that I think its pretty safe to assume the tarps are coming down soon. Although keep in mind the first part of the clutter removal happened back in 2006/2007 (a couple of the twirly things were removed, some signs came down, etc.) and nothing happened after that so for all we know the plan could still be years away (I certainly hope not).

All I know is I will reactivate my annual pass the very second Disney removes tarps/LAL, removes ellen degeneris/bill nye, and announces Figment/Dreamfinder are coming back to Imagination.

thanks for the pic and info btw

Here is the current section of railing being worked on, right at the front of the Fountain. They are only as far with the new railing through the work wall that I posted pictures of the other day.

The new railings have florescent lights under the handrails that will light up the ground beneath them. They were testing one section this morning around 6AM.

Also the Sum of all Thrills area was testing some audio. Half the night all I heard was "For your safety remain seated...(inaudible chatter)...(laughter)." (repeat) Not the real track they will be using but just a test.

And that was in 2007. That's when the Blue and Green signs went up. ;)
