As we depart from the architectural marvels of the modern era, we find ourselves traversing into a realm teeming with vibrant foliage and majestic waterways. Our senses are immediately captivated by the sight of towering palm trees and a vast expanse of lush forest stretching out before us.
Our eyes are drawn to a magnificent rainforest that seemingly accommodates a thrilling coaster winding its way through the dense South American foliage. This awe-inspiring creation, known as the Rainforest Coaster, offers an exhilarating journey through the heart of these verdant woodland. Venturing further, we find ourselves stepping into an intriguing museum, where a magnificent ensemble of wildlife from the South American rainforests awaits our discovery. As we make our way towards the loading area of the coaster, the museum presents an exquisite glimpse into the rich biodiversity that thrives within these dense jungles. Embarking on our expedition through the enchanting realms of South America, we are treated to a remarkable spectacle of diverse avian species and native creatures—each showcasing the unique tapestry of life that flourishes in these biodiverse habitats. While making our way through the lush forests, we encounter a sprawling river, its glistening waters housing a treacherous population of piranhas. However, fortune smiles upon us as these voracious predators attempt to launch themselves towards our vessel, missing their intended prey by a hair's breadth.
When we go left we can see the lush palm trees start to transition into a beach environment and we can see waves smashing against the building where sea creatures inhabit the cracks and crevices of the sea floor of the mighty Atlantic Ocean. As we step foot inside the marine base nestled along the coastline of the Atlantic Ocean, a captivating world of exhibits and aquariums awaits us. A vast central aquarium, serving as the dwelling for some of the world's most remarkable and rare oceanic beings, ranging from majestic tiger sharks to vibrant clownfish.
Outside of the marine base, an awe-inspiring and vibrant mural catches our attention. This captivating art piece depicts a myriad of breathtaking sea creatures that inhabit the vast depths of the ocean, this is Nautical Excursion, an Omni mover. As we enter the main research area of the base, we can see a whole slew of experiments and demonstrations occurring all around us as we continue to go through the marine base. We enter a viewing area as the pre show commences, we are hired to go under the waves of the Atlantic Ocean to explore the Mariana Trench. Leaving behind the viewing area, we make our way towards a meticulously crafted vessel, designed to withstand the immense pressure and unparalleled depths of the oceanic abyss. We exit the marine base and start to make our descent to the Mariana Trench as we leave the surface behind. As we descend further into the watery depths, the ordinary fish that inhabit the surface of the ocean gradually give way to an array of exotic and rare sea creatures. A scene unfolds before our eyes, a humpback whale pursues a giant squid through the valleys of the ocean floor. Our voyage takes us beyond the wreckage of the Titanic, only to plunge further into the depths of the ocean, where a valley of shipwrecks from diverse eras, spanning from the tumultuous days of World War II to the notorious Age of Piracy, lies in silent homage to the secrets that lie beneath. We start to enter the Mariana Trench as we see the rarest creatures on earth and in the ocean. We can see underwater volcanoes and geysers providing the ideal environment for ocean creatures that live in the Mariana Trench. We start to ascend to the surface as we go past all the past discoveries on our journey. We enter back into the marine base and enter an exhibit dedicated to the Mariana Trench.
A massive building, designed in the likeness of an aircraft, stands before our eyes. As we step inside its grand foyer, a world of aviation history unfurls before us, showcasing a splendid array of aircraft exhibits from diverse timeframes , ranging from the pioneering days of aviation to the cutting-edge marvels that grace our skies today. Feeling a rumble in our stomachs, we venture towards the Soaring Cafe, an establishment that exudes culinary excellence in the realm of aviation-inspired dishes. Within the confines of this counter service restaurant, we can relish an array of dishes that have captured the essence of iconic aircraft cuisine, far removed from the unpleasant experiences one may have encountered in lesser establishments across the globe. Leaving the Soaring Cafe. We venture towards the assortment of souvenir shops, which beckon us with their displays, boasting a diverse range of merchandise proudly adorned with the logos of several of the world's most famous airlines.
An airport terminal with it’s neatly lined up chairs and its large windows with planes flying across the window, this is Soarin, a simulator that makes you feel like you’re in the cockpit of a plane. We go through the halls of the terminal as we get closer to our airplane. We enter our seats and we start to exit the terminal and go down the runway. We leave the airport behind as we fly over Epcot and going past the Kennedy Space Center. We fly over Washington DC past the Washington monument and the capitol building. We fly pass the mighty Grand Canyon as we see hikers walk under us, we continue to head west as we go past the Golden Gate Bridge as we cars driving across the bridge. We make our way towards Mexico as we achieve Aztec temple and ruins as we go to Brazil, we go past the iconic statue of Jesus. We cross the Atlantic Ocean and fly above the savanna’s of Africa, seeing an array of animals. We go over the expanse do the Sahara desert and go past the pyramids of Giza as we make our way towards Europe. We fly over the ancient city of Rome past the colosseum and the leaning tower, we pass the grand Eiffel Tower and the gleaming city of Paris. We fly over the London bridge and Big Ben as we fly east towards Russia, we fly past red square and the famous church. We fly over the Siberian wilderness and winter, we fly over the glamours cities of Beijing and Tokyo. We fly over the outback of Australia and the Sydney opera house. We make our way back to Epcot and land our plane back at the terminal. We exit into exhibits based on the several destinations that we went too.
Large forests spanning across the globe give rise to expansive tubes that house a plethora of diverse landscapes, ranging from the steaming swamplands to the frosty expanses of the tundra. Upon stepping foot into this remarkable structure, one's gaze is met with a mesmerizing fusion of contrasting environments, each carefully intertwining to create the ideal habitat for human existence. within these distinct surroundings exist an array of establishments, each offering a myriad of goods tailored to suit the specific characteristics of their respective ecosystems. Among these, the Rainforest Cafe stands as a table service restaurant, beckoning visitors to savor a delectable assortment of delights sourced from the abundant forests that span the corners of the earth.
A biking garage stands before us as the entrance to an experience known as Biking Through The Mountain - a meticulously designed slow-moving dark ride. As we eagerly walk through the bike garage, we are greeted by the sight of meticulously arranged bike racks and well-appointed rooms boasting captivating posters adorning the walls. Mounting our bikes, we propel ourselves forward, leaving the familiarity of the bike garage behind. A sense of camaraderie envelopes us as we notice fellow bikers making their way up the mountain. The journey into the unknown begins, carrying us through magnificent forests that seem to stretch endlessly into the horizon. Glancing upwards, we catch a glimpse of the mountain peak, majestically cloaked in clouds. The incline becomes steeper, demanding more from our muscles and resolve. Undeterred, we push forward, navigating through caves and dense forests that have witnessed the passing of time. Suddenly, the moment of reckoning arrives - a precipitous drop in the mountain's terrain lies ahead. In an instant, our pace quickens, propelling us toward the edge of the cliff. However, we turn just in time to dodge the mountain. Our descent down the mountain commences, Gradually, we draw nearer to the base of the mountain and the familiar embrace of the bike garage, where our journey began. We exit back into the familiar Land Pavilion.
We see a colorful mural depicting the farms and grasslands from all corners of the world, this is Living With The Land, a slow moving boat ride. We go through the queue of the ride as we get closer to our ride vehicles. When we enter our boats, we exit the loading area and enter a tropical rainforest where all different species of animals and plants reside in this diverse ecosystem. We enter the west, where we see bison roaming the desolate landscape with cacti and Rocky Mountains. We enter an old American farm, with a barn that houses all sorts of farm animals and a farmhouse for the owner. We go through the living laboratories, where plants for all of Walt Disney World are produced. The laboratories hold a slew of different plants that some might not have heard of and some of the most iconic and famous plants known to man. We see a presentation of different ways people farm produce, we then exit the ride and enter into different exhibits based on different plants and environments.
A large mountain looms over the area, as we see lava flows and molten rock covering the area. The lava flows culminate in the mountain as a rocky entrance stands before us. This is Geo-discovery, an Omni mover dark ride. We enter the ride through the rocky entrance where hot geysers and lava flows have shaped the mountain over hundreds of years. We go through the caverns of the mountain where it gradually gets hotter as we reach the core of the mountain. We enter a research area that have been worn down over time, we enter our vehicles and make our way on our journey. We go through the lava filled caverns as a scientist comes on screen and tells us about the rock cycle and information about the ancient mountain. We reach the core of the mountain where the ride is at its hottest, we then see geysers start to spray across the area which started to cool the core down, which is the reason why the mountain hasn’t turned into a volcano. We then exit the core as we are sprayed with cold water to cool off from the heat of the core. We continue to go through the mountain and start to reach the unload area, but we make a sharp turn and quickly descend to the lava filled caverns as we continue to get closer. We make a sharp left and we are put back on course as we finally exit our vehicles. We exit into an exhibit based on the rock cycle and volcanos and how they work.
To the leftward side of the mountain lies an abandoned mining base, wherein exists a rather peculiar sight. A massive, imposing rock has forcefully pierced through the central part of this forsaken base, serving as a testament to the sheer power of nature's elements. Continuously, streams of fiery lava fluidly traverse the path between the base, while the surrounding geysers sporadically erupt. This is the Volcanic Rock Show. A distinguished scientist emerges from his residence, prepared to delve into the gripping tale of what transpired within this once-thriving town. Suddenly, as if on cue, an awe-inspiring display of nature's fury unfolds before our very eyes. A colossal lava fountain forcefully surges upward from the depths of the earth, a vivid reminder that this show is, indeed, situated atop an active and potent lava flow. Throughout the performance, we bear witness to the town's inhabitants struggling to evade the encroaching waves of molten lava. However, despite their attempts, fate seems determined to conspire against them. Each escape route they endeavor to utilize becomes increasingly obstructed. Eventually, they are forced to retreat to a fortified bunker, their only sanctuary from the lava's advance. The inhabitants address the onlookers, reassuring them that they will emerge once the relentless torrent of lava has subsided. As we make our way out of the show, the pervasive presence of the main lava tube silently engulfs the entire town, leaving an indelible mark of destruction in its wake.
