Hi everyone,
We are planning a dinner for Epcot in early December, and I was just curious to hear what your opinions are for the best Christmas decor in the resturants there? I know Canada is best but its impossible to get a reservation.
So any other ideas? We cant make up our mind. Were doing a dinner with our dining experiance card and then will wait in line for the Candlelight, to save some money instead of the package deal, but what do you think looks the best? I know China, Morocco and Japan dont really decorate. Does the Coral Reef or Italy? Thanks.

Hi! We've always loved the Holiday decor at the Germany pavillion. There is a fun buffet-style dinner show with traditional German dancing and music, but it is only shown a couple of times in an evening so you need to ask about when it is when you schedule your res.

Anyway, the who Germany pavillion looks like a postcard at Christmas!

Not that this is going to help you right now, but I have yet to get shot down getting a reservation for Le Cellier. The worst I have had so far is that I asked for 530PM and instead I have a 550PM reservation. Two years ago, I was able to get 2 tables for 10 and 12 guests at the time I wanted when a large group of us went to WDW.

Without a doubt, 180 days out at 8AM is a must if you want to eat here. I don't like fact I have to plan my dinner 6 months out, but eating at Le Cellier is certainly than NOT eating there!

I'd try Biergarten. The Germany pavilion is my favorite for decorations too and inside the restaurant was very cute. Plus the band did a special Christmas show which was really sweet and the kids were dancing and having a great time. And you might still be able to get an ADR in there since its buffet.

Have a wonderful time at the best time of year at WDW!

During December last year, DH and I ate at numerous restaurants. The restaurants that we ate at Epcot were:

  • Le Cellier
  • Rose & Crown Pub
  • Coral Reef
  • Teppan Edo
  • Marrakesh

All restaurants were excellent in service and food. But as for Christmas decor I would have to say Rose and Crown first than Le Cellier. It doesn't have much theming but the food is well worth it.

Since I have only eaten in Germany during the holiday season than that is my vote. Plus I always eat in Germany i love it there.

Chefs de France.

The location of France, the way the building is structured, the many windows for looking out at the Christmas scenery, the dining tables themselves, and the whole setting of that area make for a nice Christmas experience.

Tks.
