Epcot American Adventure Statues Question

Could be completely wrong-- aren't they all based on actual statues of actual historic figures? I don't know much about the other ones, but I recognize the fisherman from Gloucester, just wrote a history paper on him actually.

Can't exactly remember the details though.

Maybe you're thinking of the ghost at the haunted mansion that was talking inside the crystal ball? She was a costume designer at Imagineering.
