epcot alcohol help???

I just get a kick out of it because I like to tease him, especially since he tried to trade me for my Boddington's. Rose & Crown is the first stop when we get into the park, so I'll ask, 'Would you like a Strongbow... milady?' Then he says he'll get one right after he throws me into the Lagoon, or says that it's more apt for ME to drink a Strongbow :ROFLOL: But instead we just grab some beers and listen to Carol Stein play a few tunes. :sohappy: It's all in good fun, and we've usually had a few Backscratchers over at the Tambu Lounge by then! :slurp:

Now that is what i am talking about. I love the back scratchers :slurp:

Strongbow is a great drink to have on a nice hot day in Epcot (and is definitely a manly drink!). It's by no means a good example of a great British cider though, my own favourite is a local one from Devon http://www.hancockscider.co.uk/

I remember when we were in a small cafe in Jersey (Channel Islands) and in walked a large American tour group. They all ordered the 8% cider expecting apple juice, not realising that "cider" in the UK is "hard cider" in the US... needless to say some of them weren't very happy!

okay i dont understand the importance of having a drink before riding Soarin. If you were looking for drink recomendations I totally understand that and I think the advice was good. :hurl:

I've always just put my vodka + red bull in a gatorade bottle and then take it into the park with me! Or you can go in with a used water bottle (your own of course) full of rum or vodka and mix with any of the various fruity smoothies in EPCOT., and you are recycling the bottle, GOOD FOR THE ENVIRONMENT!!
