To start off, I came up with an idea that would make many Epcot and Disney fans happy as well as teach regular guests the history of EPCOT center. This concept also segued into the idea for an Innovention replacement which I will get into later. I'll post the full idea later on but for now, enjoy this little art I created for the logo.

All right, here it is.

EPCOT: A Historical Tribute
The tribute area would be located in Innoventions West. The only accesible way to visit would be to go in from the outside of the building. The exhibit space would take up a good portion of Innoventions west, replacing several current exhibits. Ordinarily, the exhibit would be accesible from the inside of Innoventions west however it is seperate from the regular exhibits. Upon entering, you would be in a fairly large room. Think a massive version of the Epcot 25 exhibit space. In the center of the room would be a newly constructed EPCOT Center model, similar to the one built before the park was built. It would feature a diorama-esque look with all of the attractions located around the lagoon. The HUGE model would rotate slowly around, giving guests a better look at each side. Relocated from the Epcot 25 exhibit on the back wall would be the historical timeline, mapping out Epcot center's progress. Also on the walls would be the attraction boards, detailing the story of each attraction and providing artwork and construction photos. Also inside in the small theaer in back is EPCOT CENTER: One Man's Dream, a 20 mminute documentary featuring the original videos Walt produced.

I had an idea similar to this, but mine would be the post show to a new version of COP. The last scene of COP would be the original EPCOT city model, with a clip of Walt talking about his idea. You'd then exit into a room that sounds very similar to yours.

Does anyone have an idea for an Innoventions replacement name? Something that sounds alot like it belongs in EPCOT Center.

Here is the Innoventions replacement.

Global Com:
Global Com would be a revival of Epcot's classic communicore, in some ways. It would be an original testament as it takes elements from various concepts of the current Epcot and puts them to te test. Each section would be host to exhibits based on themes from various pavilions.
Energy Center- The energy center is a futuristic playground home to many activities relating to energy. First would be Oil Spill, an interactive touchscreen game which allows users to help clean up an oil spill while learning facts about it at the same time. Second would be Renewable Resources, a peddling game where kids have to peddle on their energy mobiles to pick up various items relating to energy. Picking up a non-renewable resource causes the loss of several points. Also in the energy center is the exclusive Solar Car, a hands on exhibit where kids and adults get a first hand view of the future of cars and energy.
Space Hall- Space Hall would be a futuristic room with a small model of the Space Shuttle in the middle. There would be Space Exhibits, an area where kids can touch actual meteorites, satelites, and other space objects. Galaxy Viewer would be a 3-D porthole built into the wall which features various galaxies and nebulas much like Space Mountain. Space Launcher would be a KUKA arm robocoaster that lets guests create and design their own ship, space plan, meal and other stuff while exhibiting false G-force.
Computer Station- The all new computer station will be an area where the concept of computers and the technology that makes them function is brought to life. Computerpalooza is a small show where kids can talk to Billy 2.0, an interactive computer that moves around the stage. Also in the Computer Station is a timeline of computers. Each computer model (the actual ones, not pictures) are lined up along the wall showing the progress of the computer. Some newer and future models will also be added. The Internet Highway will be the last feature located in the area. It will allow guests to create an email of the future and send it to friends or family.
Disneynature Earth- A fairly large concept for the existing space is Disneynature Earth. Outside the theater guests watch a brief pre-show and are talked to by a sponsoring hostess. After getting their 3-D glasses guests enter a huge theater occupied with a 50 foot tall screen in the front and watch a 25 minute IMAX presentation. part of the theater is underground to fit it in the current location.

There it is. Aside from the several exhibits the current Innoventions building will be repainted and the covered windows will be uncovered.

The name I would choose draws it's inspiration from Horizons

Epcot: Looking back at the future.

If not the name it could be a good slogan.
