Rumors

Character Spot will be receiving a major redo. Expect there to be construction of rooms similar to the setup of Town Square Theater. We'll probably see several areas left open while construction starts on the new layout.

Boat Dock at Animal Kingdom is going bye bye. Expect the WTP characters to move to the new indoor meet n greet location. That is, if AK keeps the Pooh characters.


Stitch will be leaving EPCOT and Mrs Incredible will be leaving Studios.

That would suck. The little shortcut between the Character Spot queue and Fountain View is nice. I also believe there are restrooms along the way.

I'm guessing that you probably posted a link to your website. So you are basically doing SEO and promotion using WDWMAGIC's traffic. Not really fair to do that is it? If someone else posts a link to your site on here, fine, but should the owner of the site be going around posting their own links on other websites, purely to boost traffic?

They should move to the new indoor location. I'm assuming it will have multiple rooms for different characters.

Agreed. For as nice as it is to hit multiple characters and one line with kids, we haven't even bothered recently as the pictures just seem to come out cheap looking. Hopefully the "rooms" will be better themed.

I thought the same thing. I also wonder why the heck they were ever put together in that spot in the first place weirdest and most random pairing ever.

It was reported elsewhere that Daisy is replacing Donald at the character spot. So it looks as if they are totally doing away with the characters at the front of Epcot.
Donald will only be in Mexico...that means no more classic dressed Donald left anywhere.

It's kind of surprising that Mrs. Incredible is leaving considering she is a Pixar character and Pixar is the cash cow for Disney right now. However, the Incredibles doesn't seem to have the level of popularity that Toy Story, Finding Nemo, Cars, and Monsters Inc. have.

I think the only other place that Stitch meets is at Ohana, where you have to pay to see him. Can you meet him anywhere else?

We have lost so many characters this past year and all that remains are basically the Fab 5, the princesses, Winnie the Pooh characters, and a few Pixar characters. That is quite depressing.

Strange that the Pooh characters are leaving the boat dock... they can't be using that space for anything else, can they? Or do they just have capacity in the new indoor M&G area that they're looking to fill?

I will be kinda sad if they use that space near the old 25th exhibit, not that I'd blame them. On one hand it's a big, air-conditioned, non-crowded, non-noisy spot. On the other hand, it's a pretty big dead spot in the middle of the park.

As of now, Stitch is at Tomorrowland, AM at the Sorcerers Hat, and seasonally at Typhoon. Nothing > Daisy & Stitch at Epcot entrance for 5 years
