Lets keep in mind here that the article said that this entertainment production may not be billed as a parade. I think this could lead one to believe the spectacle may be more complex than an parade especially with the mention of sets instead of just plain old floats.
Also, parades at World Showcase really cramp things up. Lets hope, they have found a better route or a different venue for the presentation.
On another note, what, if anything, is going to be done with Illuminations:ROE? The show is going on 4 years old from what I can recall. It was also probably one of the most viewed Disney park shows ever for the time it has been presented simply because of the high attendance numbers of the Millenium Celebration. I would think there would be an update or change out here too.
Wouldn't it be cool if whatever the new "show/Parade" is going to be would also incorporate the lagoon and all it has to offer as a stage? Kind of a Fantasmic on Steroids is what I am getting at I guess. Fantasmic is my favorite show and to do a differently themed fantasmic-like show on a larger scale would thrill me to death. Just imagine what can be done by drawing on the cultures of the World for imagery and emotion? I think it would make a nice epilogue so to speak the current show after all .....

And While I don`t think that TOD was as good as TON ,I liked it . Let`s just hope the new parade is as good or better then TON!
