i actually did it at the end of the ride just as we were about to get out of the boat. She stood up to get out and i acted like my knee went out (b/c it always does) and just grabbed her hand. She turned around and said what are you doing and i pulled the ring out. She was 100% surprised and cried so long that three boats were backed up behind us. The people in the boats behind us were angry until they realized what was happening and then they all cheered. I didn't let the cast members know so everything they gave us was spontaneous. It was a great moment and i was lucky enough to have my dad video their entire event. We both thank all of you for your many congratulations.

Congratulations!! We got engaged at Cinderella's Royal Table in March 2006. We wanted a Disney Wedding but ran into the same problem with location of family. We had a Disney themed wedding here in Albuquerque, of all places. It was really cool because the florist I happened upon had worked with the Disney floral department one summer and we even had hidden Mickey's in my boquet. We did lots of neat things with music, decorations and invitations so it was the next best thing to being there. Congrats!! We got engaged in Disney too, right in front of the castle. It was amazing and I think of it everytime we go there. We honeymooned there too. There's no better place in the world!:wave:

Way to go! I proposed to my wife many years ago at the Blue Bayou Rest. in Disneyland. Talk about scary! But, I got a standing ovation! We returned a year later and married then traveled to WDW for the honeymoon. Then came the "little souvenir."

We honeymooned in WDW and it was our very first trip there. We were so enamored with the magical place we have all come to love that we have been back every year since.

My Fiance and I were engaged last Sept in the gardens of the French Pavillion, and are getting married August 9 @ Sea Breeze Point on the Boarwalk.
