End of May 2016 or beginning of Aug 2016

Hi, my husband who is a teacher and I are planning on a trip to WDW for the kids next summer. We could go from May 28- June 4 or the first week in August. Which would be better regarding crowds and prices?

The May dates included Memorial Day weekend. August.

The heat in August is much worse than May..if that's an issue for you...

I'd skip Memorial day but August is a bit hotter as others have said. But hot is hot.

It's probably about the same. Definitely in the same pricing season, probably very similar crowds and maybe slightly hotter in August. Any shot at late August?

First week in June before most of the NE schools let out! It will still be SWW except for ST it really doesn't make it any worse or you if not a SW fan do DHD on a weekday

No, unfortunately, my husband would start back that 2nd week in August for the teacher work days.

Good luck, I was faced with a similar dilemma, end of August this year or April vacation next year. The heat kind of scared me away so I opted for April vacation. Dealing with the crowds can be a chore, dealing with the crowds in 100 degree heat and 100% humidity sounded too much for me to bear.
