Enchantment

I know there are countless threads and posts about Enchantment already. I just want to tell a quick story. I was fortunate enough to travel from Ohio to WDW every year in my childhood for two weeks at Fort Wilderness with my parents and grandparents. Like so many of you, memories at WDW last forever. I am getting the chance to take my 2-year-old daughter in May for two weeks at the Fort, just like old times, and start a new generation of memories at WDW.

Happily Ever After was fantastic. I got the chance to see it live in 2019. I was really bummed when they announced Enchantment. When Enchantment debuted, our May 2022 trip was already booked. I didn't want to spoil 'the surprise' of what the new show was. I couldn't help myself though and watched the live stream of the debut. I was underwhelmed like many were. "Man, I wish they would have kept Happily Ever After..."

I hadn't watched Enchantment again until today. I am starting to tell my daughter about Disney World and what we are going to see. So, we watched Enchantment and talked about fireworks. Guys. Watching it with her and seeing her reaction. Tears. Everywhere. Incredible.

Happily Ever After has INCREDIBLE moments, but so does Enchantment. I hope we can all find new memories at WDW. This may inevitably turn into a Happily Ever After vs Enchantment thread, but I hope we can all instead share our memories of various shows (Fantasy in the Sky, Wishes, Happily Ever After, Enchantment) to brighten each others' days!

Thanks for sharing this! I love that you found enjoyment in Enchantment after all đź’•

I was a huge Wishes and Happily Ever After fan and while Enchantment isn't my favorite of the three, there are wonderful moments in the show and I still tear up every time. The more times I watch it and make memories with my friends and family, I know I'll grow a deeper attachment to it and I'll probably be sad whenever it goes away down the line for whatever comes next. ✨

I saw Enchantment for the first time in person last month without watching it online and my bf and I LOVED it! I loved Wishes and really loved HEA but Enchantment is great as well.

Awwww, very happy for you. I liked the projections on the main street buildings but felt very underwhelmed by Enchantment. Happily Ever After, with the original song, and stained glass windows was incredible! I hope they bring it back one day as it was so short lived.
