I understand site prep takes forever but it’s crazy how they’ve already gone vertical in DCA at their new Marvel expansion but as far as I know they haven’t here or at MK or DHS.
I'm thinking vertical construction will begin once the boneyard closes, just to remove a vantage point for potential snooping of the worksite. I know at DLP, they close the Main Street Train Station when they install the town square christmas tree, just because it looks down on the construction site

I wonder why they care that much about it. Side note: Has anyone else seen that Tony Baxter panel where he’s going over old DL film and when they were building the subs, Matterhorn, etc. you could literally drive the Autopia through a construction site? I know that would never happen today. Still fun.

Combing over Touring Plans attraction ratings: DAK may have lean attraction menu, but it might soon be the strongest.

Kilimanjaro and Flight of Passage are firmly within the top five attractions with the general public on property and Everest seems closely in the running for either 5th or 6th. Indy is a top 10 at Disneyland resort and if Encanto is an actual dark ride E ticket, it also has strong reception prospects. Lion King is the highest rated entertainment on property.
I’ve always felt that even though it is short on rides, DAK has done off the best rides across the entire WDW property. Kilimanjaro Safaries might still be one of the best attractions in WDW. I don’t need to speak of the popularity that has been FoP in Pandora, as well as how enjoyable the boat ride is. And Expedition Everest is an incredible Disney coaster.

And adding an Indy dark ride replacement for Dinosaur, as well as a brand new Encanto Dark ride (holding out hope that it is D or E Ticket caliber), then I agree with your line of thinking whole heartedly. And adding a land like this with 3 covered or indoor rides helps bolster the ride lineup during rainy days.
