Hello, I am new to the site. I just created an account so I could ask about the Emporium. I am a senior in high school and am writing a descriptive essay about a favorite place. Of course I chose the Magic Kingdom. Well anyways, my essay is about theming of shops, attractions, and restaurants. For my shop paragraph I need some specific shop themes that I can use as examples. Does anyone know the theme for the emporium or any other shop that they can explain for me? I apologise if this is in the wrong forum, I wasn't sure where this fit.

The Emporium actually has one of the more detailed backstories of the various shops to be found at WDW, beyond just its simple theme of being a commercial hub in turn-of-the-century, small town America. You can read more about the backstory on some of these links:

Shops are a bit tracky, since they often don't have as elaborate backstories as some of the attractions or restaurants. That said, some of the shops might have some elaborate stories behind them that others can clarify.
