Has there ever been a rumored ENG attraction/ride? there are SO many possiblities with a log flume like splash, but themed to the jungle...
i just watched that movie, i forgot how incredibly funny it was!
if Yzma is in the attraction, it would be like bringing Michael Jackson back into the parks for an attraction, they look so much alike. ha ha.
do ANY of these characters ever make appearances in the parks?

Have a DISNEY day!

I never could figure out why it wasn't a hit. It is one of the funniest Disney films ever. My guess is that most people simply never saw it rather than didn't like it. One problem is that it is only like 77 minutes long which is pretty short. Anyway, there are many ride possibilities from that movie like when they are sliding through the palace, etc. Maybe they could theme a water park after it.

Meega, nala kwishta!
When we ever seen any kind of strange animal, lama or lama like type, we always yell, "Demon Lama! Demon Lama!"

Or if we one of us ever hits the other one, the person always says, "No touchy"

There are so many great lines from this movie you can use in every day life...

A movie can be very funny and not good at the same time. Look at Emperor's New Groove. Seriously, this movie did not have all the necessary ingredients for a Mega hit like the Lion King or Snow White. You must mix it up a bit more. Hercules was very funny also, but it lacked enough of the other elements too.

I think every Disney movie has the potential for some type of attraction, but you should have a hit to really justify one.

Well said. Just because it was funny didn't translate into box office success. Our whole family loves it--David Spade was perfect for the role. Not every Disney movie can be turned into an attraction though. With that being said, will Monsters, Inc. get an attraction based on its success?

I think it could. I think a ride involving the last sequence when sully and mike are on the doors and everything. That could be a pretty interesting inverted coaster IMHO.

I wouldn't be suprised if the following movies were glanced at for rides...
Lilo and Stich
Monsters inc.
Toy Story
A Bugs Life ( ok that is a ride...my bad)

I personally hope Disney does well with Finding Nemo....i saw a preview for it...on the new dalmation movie....it looks hallarious...

That's the first thing I thought of when I watched the movie.

I did also... I'm thinking that's what the people at Pixar were going for, though. A wild roller coaster ride, but with doors! Who knows if an attraction will ever make the light of day??? Look at Aladdin... 10 years after it's release, it gets a ride.

I loved ENG since it was origional and wasn't trying be what it wasn't. It was just a fun movey. But trust me, it won't be an attraction. There are still lots of great movies that arn't rides yet.

character apperances

Kuzco (sp?) as a llama would appear in the parks, i saw him usually at MGM on my way to work, but he was a rare site. I am not sure if he is still around, he always looked lonely! (I loved him to death!) There is a photo of him under the pictures on this site under the characters section i believe.

Thanks for posting the link to my favorite llama! We never did see him and thought they didn't make him into a character for the parks. Does he still pop out from time to time?

When I fist saw it I thought that the scene where Kronk and Isma take the roller coaster cart into her lab or whereever would have been great for a ride. Seeing it on the WWD a few weeks ago made me think of it again. I loved that movie.

I agree. I love this movie and think a ride would be a terriffic idea. I have never figured out why the popular appeal was not there. The movie is great. I cannot believe the number of people that have never seen this film. It is easily my favorite since 101 Dalmations (anamated version). While movies like the Lion King are great, I am often more pleased with the less heavy handed moral message delivery. Disney movies should be fun, not just a little fun, but a LOT fun. ENG is truly a fun movie.

Lilo and Stich
I've always loved the idea for a Lilo and Stitch ride. Last week I got bored and drew a sketch for Lilo and Stitch's Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride. It's a stand up roller coaster that would be all cooly. I know the movie won't be as famous as Cinderella or Snow White in like 10 years but I can always dream.
