As we all know, Tokyo Disneyland opened in 1983 and during this time, Hirohito was still Emperor; he wouldn't pass away until 1989. What did he think of TDL?

Odd since Disney made their share of anti-Japanese propaganda during WWII, including caricatures of Hirohito. Just goes to show how strong that pixie dust is, I guess.

Maybe he was just happy he got into a Disney cartoon
What I want to know is that from what i've read, Tezuka (creator of Astroboy) was a big Disney fan and didn't die until '89 so did HE ever go to TDL?
