Okay gang, we need some good news to rally around here and to kick off another party hearty summer in SoCal!

Yeah, Star Wars Land is a mixed bag of a good-but-not-great E Ticket with over-inflated wait times, and a behind schedule E Ticket no one must mention, and overpriced Chinese made merchandise, and non-existent interactive elements, and grumpy hostesses at the Cantina check-in desk. But forget about all that!

Let's get excited about a new ride that opens today, promising to over-deliver instead of underwhelm!

The Disney-Pixar Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind, the C Ticket spinner and final glistening thread in the tapestry of immersive experiences that is John Lassetter's Bob Chapek's Pixar Pier!

This can be the thread to track all the breathless ride reviews, YouTube 360 videos from neckbeard bloggers, interviews with the 24 year old Imagineer intern who chose the specific color of purple paint for the queue railings, etc., etc.

We can also discuss the glamorous ribbon cutting ceremony they have for this new C Ticket hosted by whichever Disneyland Ambassador doesn't have the day off on Friday!

Will the ribbon cutting ceremony have a confetti cannon?!? Who knows, as anything is possible in Bob Chapek's Pixar Pier!

I am liking the looks of this ride. It's a family ride intended for little kids and both my boys will enjoy it. Had they kept this in Marvel Land and slapped a Spiderman theme on it and said here is your new Spiderman Ride, I would have rioted.

It's a recycled kiddie spinner from Bug's Land that they're promoting as a new attraction because it has a fresh coat of paint. Don't worry. The Marvel let-downs are in the works.

It's very elaborate for a re-skin. They finally finished Pixar Pier.
