EMH questions (in terms of non-resort guests)

I've always wondered what access (if any) non-resort guests have during Extra Magic Hours.

I have a pretty good understanding of how EMH works for on-site resort guests. But what about non-resort guests--are they able to be in the park during EMH even though they can't get into the attractions?

For instance, if there are EMH at the MK from 8am-9am, do ALL people with tickets get to enter the park at 8am, or are only resort guests eligible for EMH allowed in? I realize non-resort guests can't go on the attractions during EMH, but are they able to get into the parks at all during those times?

The same goes for night-time EMH...I assume non-resort guests still have access to the park, but they just wouldn't be able to enjoy the attractions, right? Or is there something over the intercom asking non-EMH park guests to leave?

And what about non-resort guests being able buy food or spend money in shops...are these kinds of places even open during EMH and are non-resort guests able to buy food or items during EMH?

When it comes to early EMH, non-resort guests are not allowed to enter the park.

For late EMH, non-resort guests are not allowed on attractions and are directed towards the park exit. They typically allow them to shop, but there is a general effort to move them toward the front of the park.

Thanks for the info. I've never been an on-site guest so I've never had experience with EMH and always wondered how they went about handling non-resort guests, especially in the later EMH when they were already in the parks.

I certainly do understand the point in keeping non-resort guests out in the morning as it probably wouldn't feel as special with everyone allowed in the park.

They don't move non-resort guests out at evening EMH. You just can't ride. But you can't get in the gate during EMH.
