I imagine they are worried how the whole area will work once the entry is shut down and Buena Vista Street construction cuts off that part of the park. They probably want to just stick with something that works and that they can count on to be a bit of a draw through most of that construction.

Still, by May of 2012 I think we'll have had our fill of elecTRONica. :lol:

Silly question but...does one need to have actually seen the Tron movies in order to give a damn about ElecTRONica? I hear from some friends that ElecTRONica is a lot of fun and all but I have never seen the movies and I really don't have much desire to. :shrug:

The one time I've been to DL in recent years I really enjoyed elecTRONica. It'd be nice if they had something new, but this isn't a bad place filler.

Nope. I've never seen either TRON movie, but elecTRONica is always fun. I never even went in to see the 3-D sneak preview of Tron they do in the theater at elecTRONica. It's just a cool looking, hip place to hang out and have a drink and dance and/or watch the latest dances the kids are doing. I highly recommend catching the Laserman show on the outdoor stage, that guy is AMAZING! Flynn's Arcade is also really awesome, just because it's such a perfect recreation of a video arcade circa 1982 with vintage machines using nifty tokens and great 80's music playing.

No previous TRON experience is required to understand that it's just a fun place to hang out in the parks.
