Pstt the Labor day extension of ElecTRONica was for Labor Day 2011 It's kind of an old thread.

Sorry, guess I missed the posting date of that post; although the subsequent post dated Mar. 1 2012 references ElecTRONica leaving "in a few months".
To be honest, I was surprised to think that ElecTRONica would last through the re-opening of DCA since it seemed that Mad Tea Party was destined to debut with the "new" DCA..
Regardless, I am completely not a local and rarely visit DLR, but I will surely miss ElecTRONica! As wonderful as Mad Tea Party may be, I can't imagine it touching on the same thematic depths as ElecTRONica.

I'm going to miss ElecTRONica as well. Flynn's was really cool.


And with that parts of ElecTRONica are already being removed from the Hollywood Blvd.

The stage that is still up. I never noticed but the opening dates for each of the movies are placed on the top left and right of the stage rigging.

Surprised no one's chimed in so far, but tonight's the final night, eh?!

I'm sure that all of the regular's will be there to commemorate the day.
Anything special for the final night, for the moment when the Portal closes once and for all?

I had lots of fun nights at elecTRONica and will definitely miss it, but i'm also looking forward to the new Mad T Party. can't wait to see how that turns out!

Aww that was a nice way to close. I'll defiantly miss it.

I do hope they reuse all the search lights above Hollywood, it's one amazing effect and look.

I also have to say that usually when Disney tries to be "hip and edgy" it never works out. IMO both Glow Fest and ElecTRONica both worked very nicely for what they were. There is one thing for sure that just a DJ on a stage with minimal lighting and the "cupid shuffle" isn't going to cut it anymore, at least at DLR.

With that I am excited to see what Mad T Party will offer.
