Electrical water pageant and "other" resorts

I've never seen the Electrical Water Pageant, though I hear it's a nice show for those who can see it from their resorts (Polynesian, Contemporary, etc.)

I'm going to be staying at the All Stars, though, so I can't see it from my resort. This brings up two questions:

1. Is it possible for me to see it from somewhere else, relying exclusively on Disney transportation? (I know I could go to another resort to watch the pageant, but would I still be able to get back to the All Stars when it's done? I don't want to get stranded somewhere.)

2. Is it really worth going out of my way to see anyway?

Thanks in advance for any insights!

Disney would never leave you stranded. From any of the resorts you would be able to take a bus to Downtown Disney and then to your resort late at night.

We stay at WL and sometimes see the Electrical Water Pageant several times during our visits. Once we saw it from the boat between MK & WL.

Check out the following link.

water pagent

i'd recommend taking a field trip to one of the mk resorts and watcing it from there. you don't need to be a guest at the hotel to visit and it will give you a chance to expirience those places while you wait for the pagent to begin.

If the Magic Kingdom is staying open late, it passes by the main entrance area at 10:20 pm.

It's interesting, but dont make a trip for it alone - do dinner at one of the resorts or maybe shop your way around the monorail or something.

Schedule:

Polynesian Resort -- 9:00pm
Grand Floridian -- 9:15pm
Wilderness Lodge -- 9:35pm
Fort Wilderness -- 9:45pm
Contemporary Resort -- 10:05pm
Magic Kingdom -- 10:20pm (during extended park hours only)

Well, I'm going during the slow time of year, so the regular hours won't be that late, but I assume this would still be true for EMH?

Then again, from what I've been reading, I'm not sure how much I want to be there during EMH, though that's a different thread. ;)

I do it all the time. first you go to which ever park is closest 2 u and then get on the bus to one of the resorts. There is no worry about getting back because PI is open late so take the bus there and then back to the resort. Its really easy trust me. While your there you can also chill in the pool. lol its fun to make a night out of it.

Take All-Star bus to Magic Kingdom. Then take monorail to whichever hotel it will appear at convienently, based on the time scheule listed above. then take the monorail back to the Magic Kingdom and the bus back to the resort.

It's neat, but it's not worth the trip alone. I first saw it after dinner at the contemporary when my wife and I had wandered out to look at the pool and such. It was a fantastic finish to my first magical day at Walt Disney World back in 1979.

You can watch the show from the beach at the Poly, and just walk to the TTC for the monorail to EPCOT. It goes by the Poly at 9:00. It is definitely worth seeing, as it is the longest continually running parade at Disney. If you have a good seat at Ohana for a late dinner that would be perfect.

Take a taxi to the Polynesian. Have a 7:00 dinner at Ohana. Brouse the shops after dinner. Head out past the pool, toward the beach. Watch Wishes and wait for the Water Pageant. Take taxi back home. What a great evening.
