electric light parade coming back??

Brings back a lot of memories from the last time I saw it in the early 80s with my parents. I just hope my daughter remembers watching Spectromagic with her dad when she is in her 30s like I remember watching MSEP with my dad who passed away when I was 20. I can still remember that music! Thanks again!!

let me start off, i would so be in heaven if they brought MSEP back 2 wdw. it came back to wdw for it's second premiere on my 25th birthday in 99 & i caught both farewell performances on april 1, 2001 before it was shipped back to anaheim. i was kinda hoping it was all a big april fool's joke that it was leaving but no such luck. now for it's history, original started at dl in 72, stopped in 75-76 for AOP, & 85 i believe, had its "farewell season" in 96. went to nyc for hercules premiere in 97. dl version shipped to wdw in late 97 or early 98 to be put back together & made pretty again for its may 99 premiere. now, wdw version, premiered in 77 i believe, left in september 91 & was shipped to disneyland paris. the parade ran in dlpuntil 2002 i believe when fantillusion from tdl replaced it. now, tdl, i believe premiered there in 85, was replaced by fantillusion in 97 or so which eventually went to dlp. tokyo disneyland electrical parade DREAMLIGHTS premiered i believe june 2001. as far as videos & cd's of the parade, i have bought various versions of cd's from dca, tdl & dlp as well as dvd's on ebay. maybe now since it's called DISNEY'S ELECTRICAL PARADE it doesnt have to be in mk. could we c the blue fairy & elliot running around world showcase or past the chinese theater?

I have the BEST Disney memories of that parade... I miss it so... And that song! I wonder if it's on a Disney park CD...? I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

The music is on the Classic Disney Volume II CD.

I have that version, but unfortunately it's really shortened.

However, a much longer version is available on the Disneyland Fantasmic CD. I bought it without looking at all the contents, so when I got home, I was pleasantly surprised that it was on it

I really want to see Dreamlights at some point. It's actually just like MSEP, only updated. Most of the units are very similar to MSEP units. Fiber optics are used instead of incandescent bulbs, so the lights are able to do a lot of really cool things. The music is a much grander version of Baroque Hoedown. Also, since the parade was produced a lot more recently, it includes a lot of newer films, like Toy Story and a bug's life.
