or... I can just make my own:

this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2412521856&category=6236

plus this:

http://www.mustangdepot.com/OnLineCatalog/Fiberglass/eleanor-kit.htm

and this:

http://www.mustangdepot.com/OnLineCatalog/WheelParts/gt40_rims.htm

topped off with a bit of Dupont Fleet 44490 Pepper Grey Metallic for the body and Dupont Fleet 44435 Black Metallic for the stripes...

plus a small fortune in cool accessories.

I'm budgeting 15k for this.... better than 80.

AM I CRAZY?!?!?

it's really tough to decide. I need a new car, and I didn't thing about going the classic car route until my friend showed me the link. $80k is way out of my league... but $15-20k isn't too unreasonable... especially for Eleanor

Christ, I'm tempted for $,15,000!

Only problem is that car on ebay looks like a total bucket.

I'm sure you could find a better one than that, as that would need a lot of work.

Hey rob, were you not paying attention in the last thread. My dad's cousin has one. He's the original owner, I am sure he would love to sell you his...:lookaroun

Being a tech geek, I've never much cared for 'classic' low tech cars. However, I did see Gone in 60 Seconds, and the only thing good about the movie was the cars. And that mustang is severely hella kewl.

$20K, tho.... Man, that's steep.

that's quite alright in my situation. The body kit replaces most of the original sheet metal... and any other pieces I'd need, I could just get from a local junkyard
