Eisner was great. Made Disney very powerful and turned it into a media giant. Everyone in the U.S. who has cable, pays them about $2.50 every month.
But it depends on how you define "better".
For pure business, Eisner is far more proven. Iger is best known for getting back on Jobs' good side, so much so that Jobs offered up PIXAR. But, really, it was a common sense move. I really don't see it as a great deal of vision on Iger's part. For whatever reason, Eisner did not see Disney-PIXAR as being part of the future of TWDC. He has proven himself in the past many times. We will never know what his plans where and I take Jim Hill's version of Eisner's plan with a grain of salt.
