I got this info from Drudgereport.com

Former DISNEY Chairman Michael Eisner scored a zero rating in his talkshow host debut, NIELSEN claims. Eisner scored a 0.0 rating and 0 share on CNBC Tuesday night, pulling the lowest possible audience levels... 'Conversations w/ Michael Eisner' scratched with 95,000 viewers and scratched with 39,000 in Adults 25-54 ...

I kind of feel bad for the guy.

It would be interesting to see how many CNBC evening shows actually perform better... probably not a lot. :zipit:
Excellent point. Does anyone here have any info on what CNBC's ratings are normally.

I watched it....I didn't think he was that bad. I want to see next week's show with Regis....they did a promo with Regis asking what he was thinking running Who Wants to be a Millionaire 5 days a week.

Not old, just vintage.
Why does this not suprise me? When I first saw a commercial for the show I nearly <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008_ZSYYYYYYIFUS' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/10/10_2_10.gif' border=0></a> I couldn't believe my eyes and ears. I guess he got desperate now that he is unemployed. :lookaroun

Here's all I could find.

It looks like most of CNBC shows are at the bottom of the ratings and I didn't see ANY of their shows above a 0.3 rating. It's also interesting that they give a 0.1 rating for shows that fall less than 100,000 viewers, some less than Eisner's show. *shrug*

In other words, this first time show did decently when compared to other shows on the same network.

Yeah...there's not much good going on at a station that has lost 69% of its tiny Primetime viewing audience between 2001 and 2005!

I suspect the low cost of producing its programs is the only reason it can stay on the air.

Watch for things to get tougher as FOX prepares to get into the "financial news" business with a new station!

I still think Eisner is a lot of hot air, but his poor ratings are the norm at that station and may even be considered a success if his show makes GE some money!

I saw the first... maybe 10 minutes of the show. To me, everything seemed stiff, uninspired... dry (?). I'm not sure if that's a reflection of Eisner, or Martha Stewart, or production, but it really didn't draw me in. Heck, I'd even give it a chance, depending on the guests. And that's coming from an Eisner-the-last-10-years-stunk-basher, if you will. I'm somewhat glad he decided to try something different. He certainly has the time to try whatever he wants, if someone is willing to help him do it. :)
