I just heard from a friend of mine in Orlando that he went to AK tonight and there was a K9 unit on the premises and that apparently Eisner is staying at AK. Can any CM out there confirm or deny this rumor? Is he on a tour of the resort? Just wondering.

Yes, he is in town for a "Town Hall" meeting on Friday. Management only, no doubt to discuss the company’s response to today’s union vote.

He may not be staying at AKL, he usually stays elsewhere on property. He was though at MK today doing some sort of commercial or filming for Christmas. Looked like he was down by the river below the Plaza Resturaunt.

FYI... "Management" at WDW usually includes Individual Contributors... folks with job titles that include "Tech Specialist", "Analyst" and the like. They wouldn't have much to do with Union contracts.

He was at Magic Kingdom this morning filming what I heard was a commercial of some sort for the Very Merry Christmas Parade. I unfortunately didn't get to see him, but oh well! Let's just say disney was buzzing this morning with news that he was here :)

Maybe, one of the cast members can take him on a late night walking tour through the safari, where some of my larger cat cousins can chat with him.

 But me thinks the cat would find the meat a tad bit rubbery, tuff, and undigestible. :hurl:

In Town

Eisner is in town for a executive meeting Since major corporations can no longer do retreats ( thanks enron) they are at WDW. This was pre planned and had nothing to do with the Union vote. Eisner is not involved in anything with the union, It's all in Al's hands

Anybody know how long he'll be there? I'll be going down in a couple weeks and I'm hoping he's left by then. I don't want to have to explain to my kids who this new "character" is... :zipit:

Why is it WHENVER Eisner does ANYTHING, we all feel the need to criticise him?

The man could pick up his paper outside of his house and he would isntantly be barraged with lame insults.

It just makes me feel sorry for him. He's already informed the public that he is leaving. LET IT GO! Personally, I feel that his sucessor could be worse.

Your absolutely right. My appologies. Eisner is a wonderful man. He has done so much for the Walt Disney Corporation. What was I thinking? :brick:
