Ok..so I got to brainstorming about a new WS pavillion...and the best one I could think of would be Egypt...

Now...I think the best thing would be to use this one for a "soarin over" attraction, I just have to decide where it would "fit". I will post a 3D rendering I have been working on of what it could look like (shouldnt be more than a day or so..depending on how tied up work keeps me)...so you can see why I think the themeing would be a great addition for the WS...

Comments? suggestions? Should I not even waste my time modeling it?

Im working on it...I just got home from work (where I work in 3D almost all day)..and havnt had a chance to do anything with it yet (as odd as it sounds..its not THAT easy to model a pyramid)..

Anyway...maybe later tonight but more likley tommorow I will have some stuff to show ;)

Just so you guys dont think i forgot about posting the pics...I am posting to let you know that I have had a total of 5 minutes to work on the models since friday (sorry..my non-existant social life may not get in the way...but my fun time does)...I'll probobly work on it tonight tho...since chances are...sleep isnt gunna happen ;)

Ironically there are rumors saying that Universal is already working on a Mummy type ride (scorpian king)....but its a coaster type deal...what I am thinking of doing is keeping the general "family" feel of WS intact..

Oh..and in case you guys are wondering...Medical issues have kept me from doing any work on the model....sorry...I'll get them done soon....

Well..considering i was in the hospital this morning, I think "medical issues" was the appropriate terminology to use...

Its ok...im a bit out of it today because I'm off my usual meds....so Im sorry if my last post seemed to jump down your throat...

LoL....yeah..dont you just hate when that happens?

I should be feeling better by wed (at least thats what the Doctors keep telling me)...so I appoligize in advance for any "oddness" i may impose on here between now and then ;)

I bet you are all wondering where those images are ;)

Not to make more excuses or anything (I hate people who do that)..but I have gotten sidetracked....let me expand on that::

Ok..as some of you know..I had a bit of an "issue" at my job (mainly being I dont have one anymore)...so I moved back to miami....

That was Snag #1...

So I sat down today and started to get working on the 3D eqypt when someone IMs me telling me that I have been 'invited" to compete in a worldwide competition of 3D artists at www.cgchannel.com ...basically its like a modeling competition with certain rules and limits...I of course..couldnt turn it down...

So for the next 6 weeks, that is going to be my MAIN focus..but dont worry..I plan on working on the eqypt thing as well...

LoL..well..as much as Id like to think im THAT good...theres no chance in hell im going to win. my competition includes (but isnt limited to) 3 guys who have been considered "legends" in 3D animation, 2 of my old teachers, 10 guys whos work are just..unreal...and about 100 others who i have no clue as to what they can do...

but..being INVITED to compete is an honor..especially since my invite came from one of the 3 "legends" ;)
