Rode EE for the first time in a month this weekend. I noticed two changes, one being pretty majors:

1) The lights are ON during the Yeti scene now! No more strobes.

2) Bird on a stick is back lol

The lights are.... on?

Does this mean ride elements that are supposed to be hidden are now exposed?

Didn't the last update on him say that he is now in a different position partially slumped over? LOL, so now people can see him in his, "pouting" position. :p

The most important question here is: is the Yeti still on C-Mode?

I assume that since the lights are now on one would be able to see that more clearly.

Great.. The sleeping maintenance man forgot to turn out the light on the way out....

Either that, or we'll see him soon in "C" Mode with a Captain EO outfit on...

I keep telling you guy they should have just installed this from the beginning. He is always in A mode and never breaks down

I rode it the day after. I believe it's being called "B2 Mode" backstage. All they did was install/turn on a light that now brightens up the front of the yeti. There are still some strobe lights that go off behind him. I haven't been to AK in several days, but we never saw the bird on a stick. He was working on our first Everest ride this trip but he wasn't timed correctly so he went down right when you went around the corner. Our other ride later in the trip didn't have the bird at all, but the steam at loading was working.

In all honesty... I'm not sure if you want to see him. He's looking directly at his feet so you can only see his face when you are directly under him. It appears as if he has a massive hunchback. Such a shame...

As of Saturday (5/1), the bird was working and the Yeti was in the third different "mode" I've seen him in over the last 3 months. He is currently hunched further over and pretty well lit and I didnt actually notice any strobe.

I know it's disappointing for those of us who know what it should do or was intended to do (and I know for a fact it's continuously being looked at and there is a potential plan), but you also have to consider the average visitor has no idea and is still frightened or scared by the Yeti regardless of what he does, meaning it gets the job done for what it's worth as of now.
