Ummmm, sorry.
Beastly Kingdom is an entirely different concept.
Everest is simply an addition to Asia.

Actually it is, the Yeti is an imagined, mythical creature. It ust so happens that this legend is based in Asian Himalayas. So it may not be the Beastly Kingdom you had in your mind, but it might be a start. I know the structure of the land there, it could easily become the land that we know as Beastly Kingdom, in the future, it just may be a little different than we thought. I don't know, I am in no position to know for sure, but from what I do know of the park, I can say for sure that things can easily expand at AK.

I AM in somewhat of a position to know, and I know that the Beastly Kingdom concept is still intact, and if and when it is built it will go in the area that has always been designated for it.
The areas on the north end, behind and around Everest are earmarked for something different entirely.

Yeah, the Yeti will be big, around 15 feet is what I hear.
That's not the biggest, by a long shot.

I do expect him to be quite advanced. On par with Hopper, who is the most advanced.

Who is "hopper"? The AA in Spash Mountain that hops around?

I heard the Yeti was so advanced and powerful, that it took over imagineering for a few hours during a test run. Scary stuff.

I also cant wait to see this ride. This could be very redeeming for Disney.

I believe right now that it is rumored that Flik's Fun Fair from DCA will be added to Camp Minnie Mickey. Thus, Flik's fun fair won't replace Camp Minnie Mickey, instead it will function as a tiny land within a land just like Dinorama.

Then again, this is all just speculation...

That area looks like it's ready for something. It's all cleared of trees and leveled. It's huge too! I can't wait to see what they have planned for it.

See, if you want to blame somethin for the problem, blame Festival of the Lion King... it was only going to be a temporary show. Then they would get rid of Camp Minnie-Mickey and build Beastlie Kingdome. (Yes, that is the correct spelling) But due to the success of Festival of the Lion King, it looks like we'll never see Beastlie Kingdome in it's original form. Which is really sad. However, with a little work, you could incorporate character greeting areas and Festival of the Lion King into Beastlie Kingdome. :)

My understanding of the fate of the Beastly Kingdom is that the Imagineers who designed it were either laid off or quit. In any case, they found employment with Universal and designed Dueling Dragons for Islands of Adventure. Even though Disney designed it first, the design for IOA had many differences that Disney couldn't file a lawsuit to stop Universal from building it. As a result, Disney decided not to build Beastly Kingdom in its original form because it would look like they were copying Universal, while the truth is the other way around.

So I have no idea if Expedition Everest is being built in place of Beastly Kingdom because of the issue of looking as if Disney is copying Universal, as I mentioned above. Maybe Beastly Kingdom will be built, but totally different than it was originally proposed. To those who claim that the Camp Minnie-Mickey area is reserved for Beastly Kingdom, I would like to point out that the land behind BTMRR has been reserved for WRE, but that too has never been built.

Im hoping this ride will be "SCARY". Being chased by the yeti? That just might be cool. But... Do u all think disney will use the guy from Monsters Inc.? Remember.. Monsters Inc dosnt have a ride "yet".
