Education Positions

Yes. There are sometimes positions available in the Conservation Education department at Disney's Animal Kingdom. These tend to focus around facilitating programs for younger Guests on field trips and the Backstage Safari and Wild By Design tours along with a Conservation Day Camp in the summer for children of Cast Members.

There is also the Youth Education Series (Y.E.S. Programs) for elementary to high school kids coming in on field trips. There are a very limited number of statused positions with the department--most of the facilitators mainly work in other departments and facilitate the programs about once a week. Note that the statused roles for both Conservation Education and Y.E.S. tend to be either part-time or seasonal.

What about Disney Institute...?

My Wife is a teacher with her Master's Degree. She actually looked into trying to get into there.

I am a teacher with a Master's Degree too and I am in the process of making a move to the area..I was also wondering about any kind of positions that an educator could do there. How about tour guides? Is that even a position? I would love some feedback from workers...Thanks
