Echo lake drained and being painted

Haven't seen this posted yet... Just at mgm and echo lake was drained and the bottom being painted. interesting how the lake bottom looks. ill post high res pics tonite. crowds wernt that bad. Actually the water broke and they are waiting for the folks in California to send a new copy. :hammer:

I'd love to know how much money is collected from the bottom, and where it goes. In some areas of the lake the coins looked to be a few inches deep!

When I was a little girl I wanted to throw chage into any body of water. No matter what. I doubt many people can say no to giving their blue-eyed four-year-old a couple of pennies.

Its the 'lake' where the dinosaur is in.. behind the boat food-stand that is on the left side near the end of the street you enter on.

Echo Lake is at the Disney-MGM Studios, between the ABC Theater, Indiana Jones ESS, and the Hollywood and Vine/50s Prime Time Cafe restaurants. There's a big dinosaur (an ice cream shop) right next to it.
