Greetings all with some more news
A new food-and-beverage location at the Disney-MGM Studios has Guests "Eat'n to the Beat."
The new location, KRNR (call letters for a fictitious radio station), is located just outside the entrance to Rock 'n' Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith and is designed to look like a radio remote truck. The sign for KRNR also includes the taglines "The Rock Station" and "Eat'n to the Beat," further emphasizing the radio station theme.
Craig Deiches, Food and Beverage Area Manager, said the cart was designed to appeal to a younger audience.
"Due to the location of the cart, we were trying to come up with a cart that would focus in on the teens and tweens market, since that is the key market in that area of park," Craig said.
Craig said the menu for the cart, which features items such as smoothies, soft-serve ice cream, cookies and frozen lemonade, was designed with this younger consumer in mind. Many of these food-and-beverage offerings aren't available elsewhere in the theme park.
