Eating Cheap

For breakfast, I would recommend bringing with you bagels. Thomas's makes ones that are not frozen (they are with the regular bread). You can bring them to the food court and toast them with butter and jelly for free, cream cheese you would have to buy. And if you buy the mug you can have your coffee too.

Lenders bagels in the room

We bought a pile of Lenders bagels at the nearby Winn Dixie, which made a huge difference for breakfast and they don't seem to go stale.:lookaroun

For bringing food into the park, Tuna in a pouch is great for that protein to keep you going, fills you up, and travels very well but buy it at a home supermarket.

We stayed at Pop as well. I got up early (6-6:30) every morning and filled my refillable mug once, drank it down, then filled it again to do me for the morning.
I brought my empty mug into the parks with me so it was handy (and light) for the trip coming off the bus back to the room and then filled it usually once or twice more before turning in for the night. I certainly got my moneys worth, plus I have a great souvineer with fond memories of my times walking around Pop, watching people arrive and leave while I was staying.

Do we know if the OP is driving? I think we've wondered but haven't heard, yet.

If you are willing to hike a little, you can get to a gorvcery store - go to the Marketplace, and then walk down Hotel Plaza blvd. At the end across teh street is a Goodings market.

If that is a little too far, then there is a Gas Station that is located accross teh parking lot and street from Downtown Disney/Pleasure Island. Whiel it is not a full market, it does sell things like soda and chips and stuff at much cheaper prices than in the park.

If the above walk was not too much, then there are also a few food places in that plaza as well.

A "Little" hike, are you kidding me, it's quite a long walk and will be even longer carry stuff back, not to mentioned May-June time frame it could be very hot.
