Eat At The Same Place Twice?!?

Ok so I am in the middle of planning our trip to WDW in May. This decision was somewhat of a chane of original plans, so I was well past my 180 days. With that said, there is still a TON of ADRs available! My gripe is, is it weird to eat at the same place twice?

One is Hollywood Studios day. We grabbed a Star Wars dinner at Hollywood and Vine. However, my children love the Disney Jr breakfast there as well, and want to eat there again. We r doing DHS for 1 day only, so we will be eating here twice!

Another did 1900 park fare. We have wanted to do breakfast therefor awhile and have never been able to get in until now. Grabbed!

Now, we really want to do Royal Table for dinner one night. I am not officially booked yet (we do dining plan) and I don't want to prepay $300 for the meal and would rather wait until I book(in about 2-3 weeks). So I can just. use the dining credits to book it.

In case we can't get in anymore, I ended up securing an ADR at 1900 park fare for the Cinderella dinner.

Is this odd to do this? Eat atthe same place twice? I know they are all completely different experiences for breakfast and dinner, it just seems odd.

Have any of u guys done this before?

We've eaten at Captain's Grille for breakfast and dinner in the same four trip (granted, not the same day) since anywhere you go, breakfast and dinner will be totally different food, and if the restaurant is convenient to where you want to be, why not?

Come to think of it, we've had lunch and dinner (again not the same day, but the same three or four day trip) at Chefs de France, and one trip at OKW, we had breakfast and lunch at Olivia's

:)

Idk it just seemed weird. 1900 would be 2 seperate days (would cancel the dinner if we got CRT) Hollywood studios is te same day though. Idk whatever makes my kids happy right...

Have done 1900 Park Fare for breakfast and dinner on the same trip and actually the same day many years ago and they are different experiences.

We have during many trips eat @ Biergarten twice on a trip since we enjoy the atmosphere and food. In years past we have eaten at the resort we are staying at more than once.

So I don't think it is odd or weird. It is what you like and what you fell like doing.

We usually do back to back Brown Derbys at HS, its the place we like to eat there the best. I do think we'd draw the line at 2x Tony's or Mama Melrose.

If it's weird, then we're flat out nuts.. Every trip....

We eat at Crystal Palace the first and last day of every trip. It's a tradition and my DH favorite, and God bless him. If he goes along with annual Disney trips and pays the bills, the least we can do is eat where he wants, twice if that's what he's asking for. We also do 1900, 'Ohana, Tusker House, Chef Mickey, Cape May for breakfast and later for dinner from time to time. Honestly, I've never given it a second thought.

And who cares what's weird?!?! Do what you want to do! Enjoy!

Sometimes I eat at the same (meat and three) restaurant 4-5 days out of the week normally. Why would it be strange to do something similar while on vacation.

If it's good and you enjoy it...go for it.

In the past I have le cellier 2x during a week stay. Depending in how long I'm there the last being 8 nights we did mama melrosa's 2x. And everyday at some point I seem to find my way to the gurgling suitcase

We were debating on eating at 'Ohana twice on our next trip, since my parents will only be arriving for the second half of the trip. Our tradition is to go the first day, but they also want to go. So we thought, why not go twice? We like it there, and only obviously get to go when we're in Disney. So no, I don't think it's weird at all. It's vacation, you should do the things that will be the most fun for you & your family. =)

How dare you eat at the same place twice! Go put on your mouse ears and sit in the corner until further notice.

And in case it doesn't go without saying, just kidding. Eat where you want as many times as you want. I eat at the same restaurant near my apartment three or four times a week, so if anyone's weird, it's me.

And I was referring to a single day, not a week or two weeks. For that duration we do repeat often as there are only so many places we like.
