As you all know the Swan and Dolphin is a Disney Resort, well not really seeing it is owned by Sheraton and Westin. But........ the fish on top of the 'Dolphin' Resort is NOT a common dolphin. What is the name of the fish on top of the resort? If you have taken the boat ride from MGM to Epcot your skipper might have told you this.

It's not a fish. Most people mistake it for a dolphin fish, or mahi mahi, but that's not what the hotel's architect thinks. They are not meant to look like fish or dolphins although they have a resemblance to the dolphin fish.

Michael Graves themed both the hotels around water. You see waves everywhere, including tiles around the resort to the notecards in your guest room. Those "fish statues" are actually the mythological symbol for water to further the theming around the resort.
