Easter Parade on TV

If you clicked on this Thread...I'm sorry to tell you the Easter Parade is not returning this year!

But why not...This would have been a perfect year to celebrate Easter and show off the new updated Castle(s), new attractions and prepare for a 18 month celebration! This could have been a huge one hour advertisment!

I remember when I was a kid, watching the Easter Parade on TV! It was so much fun!

Seems to me that maybe the reasoning behind this decision was probably economical. This time of year tends to be slower as far as visits are concerned, even though it's spring break. As well, if the park isn't really busy, there's no reason to add a parade. And Disney certainly doesn't want to televise a parade where there's no attendance or visible "excitement" and buzz amongst the guests.

And advertisers won't want to sink their dollars into an effort like that. Over all, it's a good decision.

When the Easter Parade was filmed it was done like the Christmas parade. Filmed ahead of time with extras used for crowd shots.

Uh, as stated before, they don't run an Easter Parade any longer. They haven't for many years.
