Easter Hours!

So I'll be going to Disney World on April 23-28, and I noticed that the hours for the week before were GREATLY extended... I'm curious if I should expect something similar to happen for when I am going? It is still supposed to be crowded, so the extra hours would be extremely helpful. I just want to know ahead of time.

That's not what the OP asked.

Hours extensions are pretty common, but crowds are not expected to be terrible your week. That's very late in spring break season.

Well last time I checked the crowd levels it was all 8's while I was there, minus the Monday which was only a 6, but we won't be in any parks that day. Thank you for the information though!

I am also curious of this. My friend is going to be there April 23-30th and I pretty much planned her entire trip for her since its their first time going as a family. I was not sure what to tell her as far as crowds because I don't know if it will be more crowded the week before Easter or the week of Easter. I never go in April so I told her to just make the best of it. Start early in the morning, take a break midday and go out again in the evenings.

I know I keep reading different crowd levels for the week of the 20th-26th. Some say it will be moderately heavy and others say the crowds will be low. Easter is later this year and a lot of spring breaks from schools are over already so that's why they are calling for lower crowds (that's the reasoning I keep reading). My son's spring break is the week following Easter so that's why we are going. I'm just going to go and enjoy and not worry about the crowds to much :) I expect it to be busy at the MK on Easter but we planned to visit Epcot that day!

They usually have an egg hunt at EPCOT, so it may be very crowded on Easter.
