Easter Crowds

But...we noticed the buses ran much more smoothly last Easter than they did in August. Although busy, WDW seemed armed and ready. Definitely plan your fast passes accordingly and try to utilize EMH.
Maybe we'll see you there!

What about Good Friday? how are the crowds that day?

It will be packed every day, including Good Friday. You'll have one huge "group" that comes the week before Easter and one huge "group" that comes the week after Easter and they'll all overlap in Easter weekend.

I know I tell this story all the time (I'm sorry to those who have read this before) but I'll never forget standing at the entrance to the Jungle Cruise TRYING to cross over to the Magic Carpets and there were so many people, and it was so packed, and the traffic was so bad, we eventually just gave up, turned into the flow of traffic and left the park. It was more fun to be at the Poly! :)

It was that way the entire time we were there (Wednesday before Easter to Wednesday after) in MK, Epcot and DHS. But it was still WDW, and we still had fun, and we still wanted to come back!

If you are looking for low crowds, maybe try Animal Kingdom? I remember it being crowded, but not overly so.

My mum and I always visit my grandparents in Orlando over Easter, and I remember last year debating over which park to visit because MK (which we wanted to visit) was filling to capacity every day. We ended up doing EPCOT and having quite a nice time.

This year (tomorrow, to be exact) we're going to attempt MK. Second time around is the charm, right?

As I mentioned previously - we've done 4 Easter trips, arriving the weekend before Easter and leaving the weekend afterwards. The crowds build daily as the Easter weekend approaches and die off slowly as the second week progresses. DO NOT THINK that because its busy it will be miserable - we've been 4 times and had a great time each time. Plan well, make full use of Fast Pass and ensure that you have your dining reservation booked well in advance (prob too late for ADRs for this year).

FINALLY - Easter at WDW is not as busy as Christmas / New Year.
