Easter Basket Stuff

8 year old boys still love to get easter baskets, but I think they're catching on about the Easter Bunny!
I put books and "school" stuff ( neat pens, pencils, erasers, etc...) and some candy in their baskets. No Disney stuff though.

Just getting together the stuff for my kids Easter Baskets and realized everything is for the trip! LOL Disney Dollars (yes I still call the cards that) Glow Stix, Mix Packs, Kind bars and very little candy! Are any of you planning on putting any Disney items in your baskets this year?

I purchased a Wreck It Ralph coloring book and most of the racers from Wreck It Ralph for each of my two younger boys. Of course candy, chocolate, PEEPS and candy bracelets will be in there, too. My older son is getting candy, chocolate, PEEPS and skylander toys that he likes. Since when did Easter become like a second Christmas? lol.

I don't know when I was a kid we got a chocolate bunny some chocolate eggs and some jelly beans! My kids want Disney dollars and laptops!

Last year I got my little ones a Mickey and Minnie dressed up as a chocolate bunny and it even smells like chocolate!!

Not this year! Last year we did though. Everything in my daughter's basket was Disney except for the chocolate bunnies & peeps!

What a great idea! Didn't even think about getting Easter goodies while we were there in Feb alone.

Easter baskets? You guys don't celebrate with chocolate eggs and chocolate bunnies like we do in the UK? I hear Americans don't have chocolate advent calendars at Christmas either

Sadly quality chocolate eggs are hard to come by. We have to go to an import store to get the large hollow chocolate eggs filled with smaller chocolates... The ones that are readily available taste gritty and disgusting... as for Advent calenders, you can find them but they are made by the same gross companies that sell the nasty Easter chocolate.
