Earthquake warnings issued for Southern California?

Places get wiped out by tornadoes, floods and hurricanes at the same rate as the earthquakes or even less.

No they don't.

I know I would rather live here with earthquakes over places that get wiped out from tornadoes, flooding and hurricanes every year.

Like Walt Disney World. This is what they are facing this weekend, and while the eye will remain 100 miles east along the shore, the WDW area is in for some very wild weather, flooding rain, tornado watches, closed parks and facilities, cancelled events, etc., etc.

But you don't even need a hurricane in WDW. The daily afternoon thunderstorm moves through, and suddenly Main Street USA can be like this...

I bet they cancelled the parade. When the Big One goes on the San Andreas Fault, SoCal is in for a wild time. But overall we are extremely lucky to live in Southern California.

It was lots of fun watching a WDW blogger walk through the MK "during the Hurricane"...yeah, it was partly cloudy and all of the guests were wearing shorts. I think what ultimately hit WDW was far milder than some of the regular rain storms that blow through.
