I have a hard time wrapping my head around why, after our species clawed, scratched, and fought our way out of the swamps and into the light of scientific achievement, that we would want to turn out the lights and return to the slime and ooze.
Everything that Man has done on this planet isn't even a puff of air compared to a single good sized meteor strike or a decent volcanic eruption.
I'm sure there are some people who believe that we are bad for Mother Earth but they are free to leave whenever they get the urge and they can fertilize her with their remains thus completing the cycle of life.
