Earning Disney Dollars and Get Psyched

While our planned trip is not for another 13 months, my latest Disney Visa statement is up to $1578. In addition I have another $600 in gift cards. Plus all the $$$$ I'll earn when my son charges his classes to the local branch of UCONN (they don't take Visa, but we'll earn Discover dollars which I can cash in before we leave). My goal is to have an "almost totally free" trip to WDW. Has anyone ever earned enough $$$ to do that? I'm talking 7 days, with 5 days parkhopper tickets.

Your at $1578 Disney dollars? Holy cow. I think your good. I did the Disney Cruise completely paid for with my Disney dollars. It was just under $500.

Did a free trip a few years ago except for a rental car which though I know I don't have to have, I like to have one. Used frequent flyer miles to fly down, used Disney Visa points to pay for the hotel and a lot of our food, and we already had AP passes that we had used on two trips that year already. Normally, my Disney Visa points always pay for our hotel room and part of our passes. I charge a lot of my office expenses at work so that helps to add up the points.

Our trip is in June and we are hoping to have enough to cover the room and a little left over. We go every two years so it adds up.
