Early Theme Park show up

I have this thing where I want to be first, or at least very early to MGM one day with my sister. During Christmas week, which is reall crowded, the park opens at 830 as I remember. We will be at Yacht Club so its very easy access to MGMs fornt gate. Think at 7 I should be pretty close up front. Or should it be much earlier??!

Any ideas? I want to be one of the first in the park, and on ToT.

If it opens at 830 (make sure its not a early bird dat for resort guests), plan to be there lik e 730-745ish if you wanna be first in the park. Cause I know at Epcot, they allow people into the park up to the entrance to Innoventions, where they have ropes set up for the morning "rope drop". But definately plan on being there early without a doubt.
