Early summer discount with free additional day offer?

We booked for 4 days and received a free 5th day. We will not be able to add a 5th day to our vacation, so it looks like we're stuck with not being able use it. I did have a question. If we have a half day scheduled at AK, can we use the extra ticket to visit another park in the evening on that day?

If you're thinking that you're only going to be there for 4 days but want the 5th day ticket to use on one of those 4 days, then your answer would be no. Your ticket media would be for 5 days, not 4 days and use two tickets for one of those days. You'll need a PH to change parks.

It sounds like a deal that a bunch of the 3rd party resellers offer occasionally. You buy a 4 day ticket, and they upgrade you to a 5 day for free. The cost difference between the two is usually trivial, (Undercover Tourist is only 1 dollar more for the 5 day right now) that its often easier for them to only stock the one ticket type, get a bit more a discount by ordering more of the 5 day tickets, and eating the difference.

But to answer your question OP, no, you cannot. The only way you can use a MYW ticket to enter 2 different major gate parks (MK, AK, Epcot, DHS) on the same day is if you buy park hopping.

This is the Spring offer where an addtional park day is added to your ticket after you purchase a ticket of four or more days in a vacation package including your resort stay. The answer for the original poster is that no in order to visit a second park on the same calendar day, you must purchase the Park Hopper Option, Sorry!!! Marie
