Early morning dining...

I have dining reservations at kona at 8:25am on sept 25th, what is the best way to get there? Bus to epcot then monorail? Do they run that early? Also have reservations at tusker house at 8:05am, do the busses run to the park that early? We are staying at pofq thanks!

All depends on park hours if there will be transportation. We have a 7:30 ressie at O'Hanna and we plan to just drive..

I am determined at some point to become an "expert" on travel around the world. Not quite there yet. I would catch the bus from your place to MK and monorail over to POLY. I think the busses start early. Like 7?

Mk opens at 9, Epcot at 8 on the 25th, when we have our 8:25 am at kona... Dak opens at 9 when we have our tusker house ADR ..

For me, I will take a cab. Why? Because i'm a crazy person about not being late. So even though we could take the buses to park, I go with a cab instead.

Do they have a early morning bus to parks for in-park before hours dinning? Like crystal palace at 830 when MK opens at 9 ?

Sorry to go tangent but I frequently hear folks say " take a cab" when asking about these dining issues. Are they priced reasonable and easy/quick to arrive?

I have been told to expect about $12 and then tip so about $15 dollars. Call down to concierge/front desk and they will get you a cab. Always ask the cabbie before you get in how much he will charge. Although most cabs are fine, I have been told to watch out for 'gypsie' or 'rogue' cabs who will charge crazy amounts. If I was using this as my main form of transportation, to and from places, I wouldn't do it b/c it is costly. But since it is one may, maybe two times the entire trip, its worth the extra money.

once before we had I think 7:30 reservations to Ohana or 1900 park fare, can't remember, and we were going to MK that day so we drove and parked in the MK parking lot. Rode the monorail over, no problems. This was a while ago so with the new Monorail hours (?) this may/may not be possible anymore.

I don't remember what the hours were at MK that day, but I do know that when we went through the parking gates that there was no one there, so we just drove on through, and when we parked at the MK lot, we got the first spot. As close as you could get without getting into handicapped parking close. It was awesome, and I think I got a picture of the car somewhere in that spot.

Our next trip we have an early reservation to Ohana, and I am trying to decide between doing the above again or just parking at the Polynesian.

How much are cabs?? We have a 9:30 at 1900 park fare and I think our best option is to not take park transport..but I dont wanna drive all the way bck to the resort then hop a bus back
