we went earlier than we normally do because my sister has finsihed school for ever and we were assuming all english people wouldnt be there because they normally break up late july

but we spoke to somone last month and they said its still so so busy and manic because american children off school is this true?

is it still as busy in july as it it august?! we were hoping a little quieter!!!

Its just as busy if not more so. You can still get a lot done if you get out early, use FastPass and plan your day well. Remember, it will be very hot & humid so make sure you take breaks and stay well hydrated.

Mmhmm. Just go at park opening, grab some fastpasses when possible, hit the popular rides right off the bat as soon as you can and it really shouldn't be that bad.

I have always found August to be quieter than July - Most American schools (correct me if i'm wrong) are on holiday June - August where our schools are off July - September. Plus, you are going over the July 4th holiday which by all accounts is one of the busiest weeks at WDW.

We fly out from Manchester on 29th June so we might see you there!!!!

Busy, busy, busy.

Look for 1-2 hour waits for the biggest attractions, like Soarin, SM, Splash, EE.

One of the worst times to go, and the heat don't help. Make sure to hit the waterparks.

Nah, us Americans celebrate the 4th of July. And since Disney has some amazing fireworks, where better to celebrate? And since American schools are off and a lot of parents have that day off from work, people take a long weekend in Disney World. We're going down of the 4th, but we're staying for two weeks so we'll be able to do stuff after the crowds die a little.

But all in all, the 4th is a bad weekend to be in Disney. Guess we'll all have to brave it together!
