We are staying at pop century and our flight gets in around 9:45am. Thinking we might get to the resort around 12:30-1pm ,does any know if we will be able to leave our bags somewhere secure at the hotel so we will be able to enjoy some time at the park before we are able to get into our room, or will it be a few hours of sitting around doing nothing. Same for the flight home. That one doesnt leave until 9pm. Thanks!

Yes, they have luggage services that you can leave them with. They'll give you a tag and you're on your way. Just give them the tag when you return or call from your room. I believe luggage service at pop is outside the main entrance by airline check in. Unless you're checking your bags and having magical express deliver them then they may not even show up till afternoon sometime

If your flight leaves late you check it into the baggage area for DME. They'll hold it all day and make sure it makes it to the plane. If you leave at 9 you'll have all day to enjoy the parks or DTD.

In addition to the ability to leave your luggage with Bell Services on arrival, it's also quite possible (though not guaranteed, obviously) that your room will be ready for you to move into when you arrive, removing the need to leave things with Bell Services at all. You can drop your carry-ons in the room. (Any yellow-tagged checked bags being handled by Magical Express will be delivered while you're out of the room)

And unless there's a major issue, I'd expect you to get to the hotel by about 11-11:15am. (My average is about 70-75 minutes from the time I physically step off the plane to the time I step off the bus at the hotel)

Yes and we had to do this last year when our room was not ready yet, and we had plans to go to Epcot. It was the first time that we even had to do it since I have had great luck checking in early and the room was ready. So I was a little nervous since I had a tote that didn't zipper or close and I had my ipad and other things that I had in it. But they assured me everything would be fine. They tagged it and when we came back from Epcot that night we picked it up and were on our way!

We've always left our junk at the resort when we arrive. Sometimes it would be taken to our room with our luggage. Other times, we grabbed it when we finally arrived back at the hotel our first night. We've even left the kids I pad minis and other important stuff. It's fine. It's Disney. The CMs do their job.

just wondering, but if you check in at 7:00 am what are the chances your room will be ready by 1?
Well, if your room was empty the night before I'm sure it would be ready to go. Now, that 99.98% of the time that isn't the case to have the room ready by 1 is very doable. At AllStarSports (I'm sure the same goes for all resorts) are required to check out by 11 AM. Giving mouse keeping time to clean up the rooms for the next guest. In 2013 my room was ready by 1:00 (arrival at 12) Last year my room was ready the second I checked in again, at 12PM. But you have a good chance IMO for it to be all set and ready to roll.

sounds awesome, we have breakfast at 8 at BOGs. I know waking up the kids at 630 to be able to check in at 7 will probably make them super tired by the time it hits 1

You should be able to get into your room by the time you arrive. If not, leaving your luggage at the resort with Bell Services works great too. Enjoy

It always works like "magic" but if you're coming in from a colder climate make sure to put some "resort" wear in an easily accessible place to do a quick change before hitting the parks. (if your room isn't ready)
