When we first arrive, we are planning to go to Downtown Disney and eat dinner (quick service). I have heard great things about both of these, but not sure which one we should go to. We have 2 kids (3 &1), but I think either would have food for them. The better deal seems to be for WP (DDP), but EoS sounds good too. Thank you!!!

WP is quite good and a nice change of pace. With that said, we are frequent visitors and have gone to WP a couple of times, but go to Earl a couple of times each trip. We have even been passing through on our way to somewhere else (beach) and stopped at DTD just to eat at Earl. I love the sandwiches and have tried many different ones on the menu and there has not been a single one I did not like. My wife and I always try different sandwiches and share so I try two different ones each visit. Some people say there are other Earl locations close to them so they don't find it very special. Nothing like it anywhere near us, so we continue to enjoy it, and like the prices as well.

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
They are both really great choices. It just all depends what you all want to eat that day. Sandwiches then go for EOS and if you want other options than sandwiches then choose WPE. :)

Wolfgang Puck is my favorite restaurant on WDW property, and you should totally try to eat there. That said, I just recently had Earl for the first time and that was also amazing, so there's really no right answer in my book!

Both are great! If you want a better bang for your buck utilizing your quick service and more of a heartly meal then WPE. If you want simple but good then EOS. Both are usually very busy and sometimes hard to find a table but both also have outdoor seating as well which is nice.

Both very good but WP edges it for us and, as you said, better value on the DDP too. I found EoS very busy last time we were there, WP was less frenetic when we ate an early dinner.

Our flight arrives in Orlando at 12:30 this Friday and we were wanting to eat at Earl of Sandwich on our way to the resort. How hard is it to find parking at about 1:30 near EOS?

Vastly different options there. Wolfgang Puck has a variety of different foods that trend a bit upscale while still being workable in a quick=service setting. It's as close to table-service quality food as you'll find, I think, in a WDW QS location.

Earl is sandwiches. Very good sandwiches. Really my favorite sandwich of all, but still sandwiches (ok, they have salads as well, but really, it's a sandwich joint, like the names says).

Puck is more expensive. So if you're on the dining plan, it's a better use. EoS is cheaper, so if you're not on the dining plan, it'll save you money.

If it were me, I'd wait until the day, and see what I was in the mood for. Artisan pizzas, interesting pastas, or roast chicken or salmon -- Puck. Holiday Turkey Sandwich -- EoS. No need to decide in advance.

There is no parking at DTD near the Earl currently. The closest onsite parking will be the West Side parking garage, which will put you a 10 minute walk away.

Another option would be the casting Center parking lot near the Hess garage, and then crossing over the road.

If I were you I would do the garage and take the walk through DTD.
